Q: *SERIOUS COMPUTER NERDS/TECHINICIANS NEEDED!* Last night my brother and I lost it with each other: A. He beat the living sh*t out of me. B. I beat the living sh*t out of his computer moniter. It's not the actual COMPUTER, but the MONITER. Okay, so we're clear. It's gonna cost my dad about &1,100 dollars unless I do something. I'm pretty good at wires and computers and crap like that, but Google wasn't good enough on tell me the vivid details such as splicing, what goes here and there, names of the wires, IF this is physically possible, and what types of tools I'll need. There might be more, so if you could add more in that would be great. THANK YOU! I almost got sent to JUV because of it....... P.S. I'd like to surprise my dad BY TONIGHT. (: It is a Samsung Model 932B I think.. the number part is what it says above the Japanese. I'm confused.. And thank you, first answerer, lol. You made me laugh. (:
A: It could be something as simple as a blown fuse or it could a damaged circuit board. If it's the latter, the best thing you can do is either take to a computer repair shop and have them check it to see if it can be fixed. If not, go to one of those buy, sell and swap store and see if they have a similar monitor. It's cheaper than buying a new one. Otherwise get a shovel and dig a hole in the backyard and bury it. I have tinkered with them before, if it's the cable , you might be able to unplug the original and plug in a new one. But you have to take the back off first to do this. Good Luck any way.
