Q: I have a Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, and since today it's been taking forever to start up. When I turn it on the screen stays white for a couple of seconds, then this little world symbol comes on and it blinks and it stays like that for about a minute or two and then it logs in like normal, the apple sign comes up and it logs on. This has never happened before and I don't understand why it's taking so long to start up now. HELP!!!!! Is there any way I can fix this???
A: try this restart your computer, before the screen comes up push and hold P,R,alt, apple key. hold that till your screen powers on and off 4 times. when your logged back in go to safari and on the top menu click safari/reset safari.
