Q: when you take a screen shot, like pressing prt scrn, i know that you can just past it into paint, but does it automatically save the picture into some file on your computer after you take it? if so, what file would it be under??
A: No it does not save it automatically. It just copies it to the clipboard. So you will need to save it using the program you pasted it in. In your case with Paint.
