Q: I have Windows Vista, and an HP w2207h 22' LCD monitor.. My monitor is supposed to be set at 1680X1050-60Hz.. and yesterday I installed an Nvidia tool that I didnt mean to install.. I wanted the DDSutilities so I uninstalled the one that I didnt mean to install and my screen changed width, height everything for no reason and now I cant get it back.. I also get a weird message about not having DirectX9.. any ideas? Ive already done a system restore, nothing happened, and I have directx9 installed. Also when I go into properties and try to change the settings with that bar it jumps to 3 settings.. 1280X1000 and so on, and neither of them are what I had before
A: Re-install your video driver. You can try restoring your computer using the System Restore function. Browse to your GPU or motherboards website and download the appropriate graphics drivers.
