Q: Is WINDEX "safe" to use for cleaning my monitor screen? I'm afraid to use any DETERGENTS because that these will SCRATCH my glass screen and any SOAPS will never wipe clean. I use well water, which contains dirt and hard water minerals which use does require "extra effort" anywhere else I use it.
A: As long as you are absolutely sure the screen is glass...then yes, you should be safe using Windex to clean the screen. Note: LCD monitors, generally, do not have a glass screen...they are open to the elements and require a special cleaner (see Walmart - Computer department, near CDs generally)
