Q: I was wondering how I know if my desktop can run two monitors. I think its good enough because my laptop can and it's older and with less graphics but I've never tried with my desktop. Also what happens if my 1st monitors resolution is higher than the second one supports?
A: The monitors, if set up as an extended desktop, have their resolutions set independently of each other. My setup at work is one widescreen (@1440x900) next to a small standard screen (@800x600).
