A: chances are that the backlit has burt out ..probably going to need a new screen...if you look closely cant you make out vary faint images? does it seem like it actually running? when you press the caps lock does the caps lock light go on and off? does the hard drive light flash? do you get anything on the screen when you hook up an external monitor?
