Q: I let my 21 month old play on his baby keyboard with his game. Its by Berchet Media called Boowa and Kwala Up To Ten. Now I turned it off and my screen is flickering. Its not going dim or anything. Its like a bright fast strobe. Theres no problem reading anything on the screen or anything, its more of an annoyance. Anybody know what might've happend? The only things I have there are DPI 96 and 120... and then it says "Custom Setting". I dunno. I turned my monitor off for a while and now its fine. Thanks! I'll keep that in mind for the next time he plays his game! oh oops! I was in the wrong section! lol. But yea that box is checked, and it is on 60 Hertz. It has 60-70-75-85
A: If it is an older, CRT style monitor (not Flat Panel LCD) then most likely the game changed the refresh rate of the monitor. You can adjust it in the "Display Properties" in the control panel. Go to "settings" and click on the "advanced" button. From there, click on the "monitor" tab and change the refresh rate to something like 60hz. If that flickers, then try another setting.
