A: (I'm assuming you are using mac os x)Click on the apple in the top left corner, then "system preferences", then "Keyboard and mouse", and then "keyboard shortcuts". Under "screen shots" double click on the shortcut for "Save picture of screen as a file" and enter whatever key you want to use (I use Command+F12, which means you hold the command key and then the F12 key. The screen shot you just took will then appear on your desktop (Minimize all windows to focus on the desktop, the yellow circle on the windows is minimize). I hope this answered your question!
