Q: my pc monitor has a broad black edge giving a picture smaller than the full size of the monitor. How do i get it to full size please. also letters out of focus, blurred how do i put right. thanks for you help.
A: Try increasing the resolution. From your question I'm guessing you have a widescreen LCD monitor. You need to find out what resolution it can do (eg 1440*900) and set your display to the same resolution via display properties. If that doesn't cure it, try playing with the inbuilt monitor menus (not on the PC but on the monitor itself...)
