Q: My friend's new desktop with Vista is having a little problem.. She says the monitor is going black every once and then and then returns active with a message saying: display driver has now recovered. Is anyone familiar with this? I don't use PC's..
A: Sounds like there is either problem with her video card or a problem with the drivers. Have her download new drivers off of the vendors web site. That should help if it is a driver problem. This is a known issue with Vista and some non vista compliant video cards.
