Q: I have a Compaq Persario computer. I don't know if I downloaded a virus or not. I found this system requirement folder in my music folder and I opened it but I didn't open the next selection. I forgot what it was but I just deleted it and emptied my trash bin. Now the contrast/brightness bar pops up in the middle of the screen and it decreases by itself. I've been able to push the + button on the monitor and increase but now the bar is stuck in the middle of my screen at 0%. I restarted my computer numerous times and I don't know what else to do. I ran my virus software and it detected none. So is there a way to change the contrast/brightness other than the buttons on the monitor? Hopefully I just need a new monitor and not a computer. My spelling might be incorrect as I can't really see all that great right now.
