Q: Actually what im doing is trying to transfer files from old comp to new. Doinit blind w/one monitor. There is digital and analog ports on the monitor but i dont want to smoke it accidentally or something just as dumb
A: No you can't. You can however have both computers connected to it but one must be off. DO NOT HAVE BOTH ON.
