Q: i have a flat panel monitor that seems do work whenever it wants. the problem is that it will suddenly lose all power, like it has gone in to standby but it dont turn back on, also in the morning when you turn it on it dont work. it has a built in power supply and i think the internal fuse may be playing up, if you do lose it in standby overnight and then switch it on it just goes dead. any help would be appreciated. the monitor is using its own power cord plugged in to its own socket. this does it on various pc's around the house, but to those of you who thought of that thanks anyway
A: there seems to be dry soldering joint in the monitor or carbon formation thirdly fuse itself may be having loose connection as when you sw on monitor it draws heavy current through all the points mentioned above so any one of the above can be trouble some
