Q: Okay, so I've been playing WoW (world of warcraft) for about 2 months now, but just yesterday I downloaded the expansion, the burning crusade. Everything in the game works fine. I have an HP with vista. So, today, when I closed WoW, this little screen popped up. It said "Attention: Input not accepted" Or something like that. I could still use my computer but that little box was bouncing all over my screen. Also, I could not use the buttons on the monitor. Eventually, I opened WoW back up and... the little box disapeared again! When I yet again closed WoW, the screen didn't show back up. What's going on here? Help, please.
A: It sounds like the program may have tried to change the video card settings to a value not supported on your monitor. Sometimes, these changes need to be confirmed is a set time before being committed properly, so perhaps not doing anything alowed it to revert to the normal settings.
