Q: I have these blue and purple lines that go across my whole laptop screen on the left hand side. One day there will be like 20 lines or another day there will only be 4. What does this mean. Is it broken or what? please help.
A: It seems the cable(a flat and thin cable) that links your screen to the motherboard is broken. My only explaination is that it's due to the open/close motion of the screen. Or may be the connector that link your screen to the M/B is partially unplugged. You should better see a technician.
