Q: YESTERDAY I RESTORED MY PC TO ORIG FAC SPEC BUT NOW MY MONITER HAS A BIG BLACK LINE TO THE RIGHT AND ITS PUSHED THE PAGE TO THE LEFT SO I CANT SEE WHAT IM DOING I PLUGGED IT INTO MY FRINDS LAPTOP AND IT JUST DID SAME PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ITS A HANNS G 17" AND ITS LITERALLY JUST RUN OUT OF WARRENTY Tried adjusting via moniter settings and also via the computer settings when i try to adjust via moniter the picture does move but it just diappears behind the black margin it's as though the black margin on the right is actually the edge of the screen. After i restored my the moniter worked fine it wasnt untill i turned it on this morning and ive been on the hanns-g website and there is no driver settings for this model it is a plug and play apparantley. Tried resetting factory defaults still same.
A: Try pushing the buttons on the monitor and find the resize command, to adjust the size of the display. Re: Could be a driver problem, make sure you ahve the lastest video drivers for your video card. Also try plugging in another monitor if you have one to determine if its the monitor or the operating system.
