Q: i have an acer laptop, i tried plugging my moniter into my laptop to use my moniter screen instead of my laptop screen...when i first plug it up it comes on the moniter then the moniter turns off and says no signal.
A: Right click the Desktop and Properties > under the Settings Tab, set the screens to the way you want them. Under the Advanced tab make sure th Monitor is selected and play with all the settings in the Display Properties untill you get it right. Your monitor came with software I hope, if not you may have to go to the manufacturers website and get drivers for it.
