Q: its not covered under warranty so does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to repair or would it be better to just replace the laptop???? Thanks :)
A: I think its around $400 if its a real crack. Basically if you can still use it (keep it cracked) Otherwise, its garbage. Basic personal laptops are getting cheaper and cheaper. Shop for a new one at best buy etc, and hopefully for a few hundred more you can get a new one. I have cracked 2 screens in the past.
