Q: hey. i recently got a sweet new pc. and it was to come with a 24" monitor but i turned it down and kept my nice old 17" CRT. then straight after plugging it all in and turning it on there was a problem. OUT OF RANGE. but i fixed that by starting my PC and hittin F8 and clicked start in 640x820 resolution or somthing. the lowest one. then it worked. and then i changed it to my normal resolution. ok now thats not my problem. after that ive had some problems that are annoying. whenever i do some things like run some programs or anything the screen will like flicker on and off a couple of times then swap to a higher resoltuon. like 1280x720 or somthing. and then i have to change it back. and then sometimes it will flicker on and off then it stays off and i have to restart it. someone tell me why that happens and how i can fix it with out buying a new monitor.
A: I think your monitor card and monitor are not compatible.. I'm probably wrong.. That's what I think. You are going to have to spend money to get what you want.. Should have took the monitor!!
