Q: My old monitor overheated and I borrowed another. Its brand is Compaq, after some time Warning Increasing Operation Temperature is displayed on the screen. What's wrong? Is it my power supply?
A: I would think that warning is associated with your processor and heatsink, I would try getting a can of compressed air, pull the side cover off your tower and blow down all the components that have dust, and yes also blow out the power supply, the dust will build up and cause things to overheat, if you have had it for awhile and never done that yet then you probably really need to do it,
