Q: random times blue screen sometimes too! also fuzzy lines on screen sometimes? i have scanned it and picked up nothing?
A: Its called a blue screen. Usually something happens in windows that is causing a fatal error and causing a memory dump to prevent damage to files and hardware. It literally could be anything I would try decreasing the screen resolution to deal with the lines. All the blue screens I have seen could be from anything and I mean anything. Hardware failures such as Memory is damaged,Harddrive is damaged Or ppower supply is on its way out and lots more. Software side it could be a corrupt system file, Driver signing, Something you installed that it doesn;t like. You will usually have to do a system restore to the point that you remeber it not doing it. If the computer shuts it self off with out a blue screen and stays off could be two things If it does a normal shutdown process like you do when you click start and then turn off. This is a feature in the Bios when you boot. If it just shuts off on its own and does not go trough a restart cycle I would say power supply. I f I where you I would take to geek squad since they have all the Trouble shooting tools available to them.
