Q: Is it worth it, is it possible, or should I just go get a new monitor? It died on me last night, and I had it looked at this morning and I was told it's the bulb.
A: its not possible to judge whether the panel / converter or any other component failed. It is better to cotact the service center of the particular brand of LCD monitor either on monitor or on phone which is given on the tag or lebel behind the instrument or can be had from yellow pages or the advt . back on Telephone directory, and get it examined and get the correct component replaced with the warranty . Also the geuine spare can be obtained from direct service dealer of that particular brand which is not economical but also best for the performance / warranty guarnatee purpose.
