Q: I recently had to get a new hard drive, and I've had the same dual monitor config for a year, and now it's decided to not work. Ever since I got the new hard drive and reinstalled everything I can only get one monitor to work. My computer recognizes the monitor, but I never sends it a picture. It's not the cables, and I have it enabled to extend my desktop to the other monitor. It only shows the monitor that is plugged into the FIRST port on my graphics card. I have the latest drivers on my gpu also. Help?
A: i don't think it's the hard drive. uninstall the video driver and software and reinstall it again. read the install manual and make sure you follow the directions. I don't have much to go on to help you out.
