Q: My graphics card has dvi out, plus vga out. my current monitor is connected via vga. i want to connect my hdtv as a secondary monitor, but it only has hdmi connection. Can i buy a hdmi to dvi cable to connect it? will this work?
A: yeps it will work, i have done the same..brought the cable from ebay. you will also need to go into properties on windows and change the config settings for the monoitors.
