A: I've had the same problem, but I figured out how to fix it. The easiest solution is to simply restart your computer, because the problem lies in a Windows Explorer glitch that only occurs on certain machines. Reloading Windows will reload Explorer (naturally) so it will take care of the problem. But if it happens when you're in the middle of something and you don't want to restart, here's the option I choose: Go to your task manager by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting "Task Manager" in the menu. Now under the processes tab you'll see a program in the list named "explorer.exe". Shut this down. Next, go to your File menu still in the Task Manager and choose "New task (run)" and type in "explorer.exe". This will reload the program and after it loads you should find that things are back to normal. It sounds complex, but after you do this a couple times it'll be a breeze. =)
