Q: I was trying to record something with HyperCam 2 and it told me to change the monitor settings so it could work, but now my monitor is all messed up and I don't know how to put it back to normal, can somebody please help me. I am running a Windows XP so if anybody knows what the default settings are for the monintor, I would greatly appreciate it. I am running a Windows XP so if anybody knows what the default settings are for the monintor, I would greatly appreciate it. I put it back to 1024x768 and color quality to highest, but now the display takes up only about 3/4 of the screen and the edges are curved...
A: If your monitor is standard aspect ratio, right click on the desktop and click properties. Then go to the settings tab and where it says "screen resolution", change it to 1024 x 768 if it's a CRT monitor, or 1280 x 1024 if it's a flat panel, and change "color quality" to "highest (32 bit)". I hope I'm solving the right problem.
