Q: I've heard that the annoucement/conference will be in the next couple weeks. Anyone know if this is true or have an exact date? I heard that thing was a myth...i mean the updated versions of Macbook Pro and Macbook Anyone else?
A: I wish I could remember the source where I found this date, but I read somewhere that the target date for the new Macbooks is October 14, 2008. However, I can't tell you if that date is set in stone. I have heard that Macbook touches are on the horizon, but will probably not be release this year. EDIT: Found the source. It's listed below.
