Q: I have a new Dell laptop with Vista loaded into it and for some reason the screen saver doesn't work... If I check it on the set up page it's fine and if I let it set while it boots up with out touching anything it'll work the first time... But after that first time it doesn't work... I've tried different ones and changed settings but nothing works... Any ideas...??? Vista Home Premium 17 inch monitor 2gig dual core processor 250 gig hard drive 3 gigs ram It's a Inspiron 1720 and it has what ever graphic card it came with in it but I don't know which one that is... Like I said it'll work if I allow it to sit after it boots up with out touching the mouse or keyboard one time... After that nothing so I know it's not in the set up and although it seems that it could be the graphic card how would I check...? nvidia 8600 graphic card...
A: hey! you know what I have a dell too (dell xps) and thinking about it.. my screen saver doesn't work either... hmMm..maybe we have to change a setting somewhere not sure though...
