Q: My laptop is connecting to my first computers DSL internet connection wirelessly, how can I connect a second PC to the internet using my Laptop's wireless connection? Bridging? If so how can I get the PC to pick up the network? Please help ASAP! first one to actually answer my question I will give best answer to. Oh and I forgot to add that I have a 2Wire PC port thing and when I plug it into my 1st PC it is a new LAN connection but when I plug it into my 2nd PC nothing comes up? Is the 2Wire PC port some sort of router connection sharing thing?
A: You MIGHT be able to do that by connecting the 2nd PC to the Laptop using a crossover network cable. But why not just get a wifi PCI card for your 2nd computer and connect to your router. If you want to access files between computers, then set it up for sharing, (which is really a security risk, but you can do it.)
