Q: They just won't play anything. The volume is all the way up and my computer says everything is "working properly." Obviously something is wrong!! I contacted support for Sony and ended up deleting the driver and reinstalling it...now they work. Thank you all for your help! I can't close the question for 4 hours... thank you all who have responded.
A: try plugging in headphones or external speakers. if they work you probably uninstalled an important driver by accident. go to your laptops website and download one dealing with audio/speaker/anything you think might work. MAKE SURE its for the right laptop u have too. important.
