Q: with no internal hdd? i asked how to do it not should i do it. This is yahoo answers not yahoo opinions the external has an os and everything on it because it used to be an internal on my old compluter
A: From what I understand you can't. I tried to do it myself. I guess that you could mod the computer's internal to be external, but you would void any warranty you have. I do run an external for important docs (USB HD), but I still use the internal for the OS and programs that I use.
