Is it better to keep charging your laptop over and over throughout the day or to leave it charging?

Q: I use my laptop all day and night is it better to keep charging it, or to just leave it plugged in and constantly charging?

A: lithium batteries are last longer if they're constantly charged. letting them deplete and recharge can shorten the life. so could keeping it on a charger while it's fully charged. at a certain temperature they start to lose life also. so constant small charges are better than one long charge for li batteries.
