Q: I need one quick, with a mic, and perhaps a webcam. ;-? I heard Dell computers explode, if you leave it runnig too long. And I usually leave the computer on for a long time-- like 4 days without shutting it off.
A: MSI is probably as good as any other laptop, but what you should look for is good support for that laptop if you have problems in the future. There are many other laptops out there, and I am going to be slightly prejudiced here and recomment Dell for a good laptop with excellent support. Very reasonable for the money, and you can "design" or pick what you need in the selection process. Check it out. I have 3 Dell laptops in my home, one for me, my hubby and my son. I also gave one to my daughter and son-in-law for Christmas. I tell you the only problem we have had is with wearing out the battery, we were able to get additional batteries from Dell or eBay for a reasonable cost. Our Dells are all more than one year old and still working great! If you set on the MSI, check them out carefully, check for good support assistance, and warranties on it. And, do compare to others, for examples- Dell, HP, Gateway, and Sony, but there are alot of others out. Do the same check for them also.
