A: Look at Dells and HP. I would choose an HP over a Dell because they are generally more reliable and better computers. HP has some nice mobility models - where as Dell has the Inspiron and Studio laptops that are pretty cheap. Just be aware that any laptop you buy at $700 may not be able to run some of the newer games (Warhammer Online and the upcoming Blizzard games) but I don't know if that matters to you.
