Q: I have been using laptop for the past 8 months and it was perfectly fine.Yesterday the battery was fully empty and it automatically became off. I plugged in the AC Adapter and connected the cable to the laptop. Unfortunately the light(light which glows when laptop is charging) in the laptop does not glow. I tried removing the battery and slotting it again. Also I tried to put the AC Adapter to different points. It did not help. Kindly help me with my problem. A: If the laptop runs with ac adapter but doesn't charge then it is most likely the battery. If the laptop does not run with the ac adapter then its probably either the adapter or the dc jack.
