Q: Hey guys I just bought a Compag Presario C700 2 days ago. Today I noticed that the power brick, while charging the battery and using the laptop, gets very hot - to the point where I can touch it for more than a few seconds. It is also emitting a light buzzing sound if i put it close to my ear.. normal? or should i look into replacing it? *cant touch it for more than a few seconds Yeah i usually use the laptop just running on batter until it gets low, then I will plug it in that way it saves a little battery life. A: mine does that too lol. dont worry about it its normal. let me guess.. u plug in your laptop while its on? if u plug it in to charge it when the laptops off it wont get as hot
