Q: (I.E considering that I visit Paypal,Play.com etc) Today there was almost ten of these viruses on the laptop. Can those viruses attain the credentials that I type when I visit PayPal or Play.com? (got to think out of the box, theres a virus that can log your key strokes). I have been up all night working on it.
A: EDIT: They will NOT key log you. No, they will not harm your computer, as they pose a very low security threat. These trojans will only disable your system restore and 'may' download files onto your computer, depending on which distribution of the virus it may be (Distribution as in a modified trojan horse). The second 'virus', the Joke.Blusod is completely harmless, all it is, is a screensaver which 'acts' to be system failure messages, they MAY take you to links if you attempt to click on them. Removal of both Trojans, manually.
