A: Hello, If you find a bootable CD or disk (even a DOS, Windows 98, XP bootable disk), after boot up, type "scandisk c:" in command prompt. "Scandisk" program will check your disk and if necessary repair it easily and quickly. If "scandisk" didn't run or said an error occurred, run "fdisk" by typing "fdisk" in command prompt. You can edit, create or remove your partitions. Instead of "fdisk", you can use "PowerQuest Partition Magic" which is more quick. Because "fdisk" is not fast enough and is too limited. Download "PowerQuest Partition Magic" from: http://www.download.com/Paragon-Partition-Manager/3000-2248_4-10862483.html?tag=lst-1
