Q: I have an Acer Aspire 5715z and removed vista on it and now I have XP but since i've gone to XP the fan doesn't seem to do its job properly, it doesn't turn on when it gets hot, even when you can feel the heat through the laptop. Its only after the laptop restarts in which the fan begins
A: Laptop fans are controlled by the laptop BIOS, not windows drivers. Therefore I suggest you contact Acer technical support
