Q: how do i turn that off? ive always had a dell...so im still a little unsure of how to configure things. can i turn this feature off that logs me off of ichat and the internet or whatnot when i close my laptop? i dont want to leave it open all the time. the light is bright at night. lol
A: Since you close(shutdown/sleep/etc) the laptop, it disconnects all network connections. iChat, like all IM clients, can't function without an active Internet connection. There's no way around this on any computer if you want to shut down the computer.
