Q: Whenever I download something such as photoshop on limewire, it has gives me a setup thing, and when I double click it a bunch of funny letters come up on a text edit sheet, the instructions say to run the setup thing but I cant figure out how to, help please!
A: Make sure the file you are downloading is for Mac OS X. If you download a .exe file it may appear as a bunch of funny letters in text edit. The most common Mac OS X install file ends in .dmg. Usually you can install it by dragging the icon somewhere (like your desktop or Applications folder).
