Q: So, i wanna buy a laptop, im wondering which one of these brand are better ? dell or acer?? because the dell one is kinda expensive but the acer one i got a deal for 200 dollars. Is it true that if something is cheap it doesnt work good?? so if u can tell me based on ure own experiences which bran dis better it would be rlly great. thnx SO, i think i should explain more on what im gonna be doing with my laptop. i wanna be able to download music and movies and also im gonna be doing a lot of projects . i want to be able to multi task without the laptop freezing. i also want it to be pretty, light and small. i also play games on it. and i want it to have a webcam and voice. cause i chat a lot with my friends lol Also, the acer is not used , a family memeber is buying them from the company and since theyre buying a lot its cheaper, so they told me they would sell me one but im not sure which brand is better, but i love the pink dell , its so cute. lool
A: Cheaper things are more likely to break. A $200 laptop, I'd expect a year. Not bad since it's such a small investment. If a laptop works from the start, it'll most likely work until it dies. Or becomes obsolete. I'd take the $200 deal personally. Could always sell it for half price later on, and buy another better one. With all electronics, there's a certain % of failure. Low number, but it means that every brand is prone to problems.
