Q: Okay it's kind of an emergency. I have the opportunity to get a free pair of Medusa headphones and I wanna know if my laptop's sound care is 5.1 surround sound. How do I find that out? It says I have a Sigmatel High Definition Audio CODEC, Bluetooth stereo audio, and Bluetooth hands-free audio. I got all that info from the System Information thing in my computer. If I brought up the wrong info, please give me directions and I will find the right info and post it, because I will be checking this question every few minutes for new answers. A: hit start, run, and type "dxdiag" then hit the "sound" tab and it should tell you the audio card your laptop has. You can then take this info and go to the card manufacturer's site and look up your model. Good luck!
