Q: idk for my college it says i need to have this on my laptop to be able to connenect to their internet i think..idk..someone please explain how i find out if i have this on my laptop and were to find it and all that jazz..plz
A: If your laptop has Wireless capability, Such as a Wireless switch or light anywhere on it, then it will work. To be certain, and I'm assuming you're using Windows XP, click: Start Control Panel Network And Internet Connections or Network Connections Then you will see some icons, one of those should be labelled as an adapter. So long as you have a Wireless adapter you can connect to a 802.11b/g network.
