Q: I just got my new laptop TODAY and I'm working things out, but as soon as I go to play a DVD (not CD), it tells me that my DVDs are in the wrong region- which is not true, because on my laptop, it says that the region is USA, CANADA and I'm supposing that that's how it is on my DVD players that I've had because my DVDs worked, but for some reason my laptop isn't. What do I do???? What could be wrong????! Also, I tried installing some AOL dial-up on it, but it doesn't have a phone jack- how does that work out? Any tips?
A: The phone jack is next to the RJ45 jack. It is on the left side. As for the region setting I would go to Dells owner forum at http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/ , log on and ask that question as I have seen it discussed there, or try here http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/ Just have your service tag available.
