Q: i got a macbook for quite a while... starting of this year actually. so when ever i insert a dvd into the dvd drive, the message 'supported disc not available' so i tried to repair disk permission but it was to no avail... can anyone help me? yeah.. and sometimes the disc cannot be read, and it just got spit out of the com... can anyone out there help me
A: 2 options - Hold down the option button when loading the DVD. If that doesn't work take your MacBook back and get the DVD drive replaced. It will be under warranty. Sounds like you have a dud DVD drive.
