Q: My sister has a Fujitsu Siemens laptop she got for college work, and when she is typing the curser jumps into a random position in the writing. Obviously this is really annoying her as it happens a lot in Word and when writing emails. Just to confirm (as an example) this means she will type a paragraph and the end half of the paragraph could end up anywhere in the document!
A: Her Palm is "touching" the touch-pad by accident whilst typing. You can find many high end laptops, come with "palm-sense" where the touchpad knows if its the palm, and will not move the cursor. The only good solution to combat against this is to disable the touchpad, and use a USB mouse.
