Q: I bought a new laptop and it came with a Centrino processor. There were others with pentium processors. I was told this one was better? Is that true? Should I have spent a little more more money and got better then Centrino?
A: Centrino isn't known for power when it comes to processors but more of a energy saver. So your laptop probably last longer than a few hours compared to one with a nice powerful one that probably olny get a 1h and 30mins on one battery charge. P.S. your processor has nothing at all to do with your wireless capabilities . That has to do with your motherboard and wireless card.
