Q: i'm considering to get one, but idk if it's one of the old ones or newer ones thanks :D
A: It did just come out a few months ago. It uses AMD's new Puma platform, which is a new CPU and graphics chipset. I am in fact typing my answer on that exact computer, so you might take my suggestion with a grain of salt. Even so, the computer is fast and quite capable. If you're looking for a tablet PC, it's the only way to go in the price range. Graphically, AMD's new chipset is very good for an integrated option. It's fast enough to run Half-Life 2 with relative ease. The computer itself is snappy and runs well. As for the tablet functions-I love it. It makes taking notes much more natural. If you get a tablet, Microsoft OneNote will be your best friend-Read about it. It's impressive. There are some disadvantages to the computer: If you're on a high power setting, the computer heats up quite a bit. (Not as much as the slightly older tx2000, but still notably) With the heat comes relatively short battery life. The extended life battery is a good idea if you're planning on using it on the go. In short? It's got a lot of functions, and it's a pretty awesome price for what you get. The problems are that it heats up a bit and runs through batteries quickly. To answer your question though, yes, it's certainly recent enough, and you'll even be able to play games on it if you choose to.
